Today we’re brewing an American Pale Ale.  A delicious light hoppy beer, perfect for nice spring & summer weather.

For the next 6 months or so, we will probably want to brew the lighter “Summer” beers.  Stouts and Porters are great, but no one wants to chug down a thick stout after mowing the lawn in 95 degree weather.

My idea is to add a twist to this beer by adding some pineapple in the secondary.  We’ll see how this turns out.
